Titanite

Locality: Cardiff Uranium Mine, Cardiff Township, Haliburton Co., Ontario, Canada

3.5x3x2.5. cm, Most unusual titanite crystals. Each is a tabular parallelogram with beveled edges. The largest crystal is 2cm at its widest points, and there are two large, undamaged crystals on the calcite matrix, plus some smaller ones. Dana locality.
