Zirsilite-(Ce) : Na_11-12(Ce,Na)₃Ca₆Mn₃Zr₃Nb[(OH)₃|CO₃|(Si₃O₉)₂|(Si₉O₂₇)₂SiO] · H₂O

Locality: Sagåsen Quarry (Sagasen Quarry; Strandåsen Quarry; Saga 3 Quarry), Sagåsen (Strandåsen), Mørje, Porsgrunn, Telemark, Norway

Yellowish-brown grains of massive zirsilite-(Ce). Zirsilite-(Ce) has not been found in crystals in Norway, but massive zirsilite-(Ce) is fairly common in the large Sagåsen pegmatite. Field of view about 5 mm. The specimen was collected by Svein Arne Berge, and it is now in the micromount collection of OT. Ljostad.
