Quartz (Var: Sceptre Quartz)

Locality: Spruce claim (Spruce Ridge), Goldmyer Hot Springs, King Co., Washington, USA

Fine colorless transparent crystals of quartz are covering aesthetically a flattish matrix. The most prominent crystal is neatly sceptered and measures to 5.0 cm in length. Shows all around; some chipping is present on the lower half of the sceptered crystal on the back of the piece. This not visible when the piece is displayed properly. Measures 8.8 x 7.5 x 7.5 cm in size overall. Quite neat for the locality! Ex Lloyd Tate collection.
