Locality: Hutson Zinc mine, Salem, Illinois - Kentucky Fluorspar District, Livingston Co., Kentucky, USA
Bitumen that looks like wet oil on dolomite in a matrix of granular sphalerite (the primary ore of this mine). The Hutson zinc mine has the best crystals of dolomite in the fluorspar district. Collected in October, 2004. Alan Goldstein specimen and photo. FOV = 2.5 cm
