The jet-black crystals are razor-sharp, and they have a mirror-like luster to them that is reminiscent of the finest black Andradite garnets. This is a very fine thumbnail that is actually better in person. Comparing these crystals to others you have seen will show just how outstanding they really are. This small, defunct locality produced in the past one pocket which , for crystal size and disctinction of habit, are surely the worlds best of species. 2.2 x 1.8 x 1.3 cm
