Locality: Yerington District, Lyon Co., Nevada, USA

Large specimen of branching calcite crystals, locally known as Cactus Calcite. Large central crystals up to 6 cm long have smaller calcite sprays branching off at all angles. A large specimen for this locality. Ex. R. Eaton collection. Overall size of mineral specimen: 7x4x3 cm. Size of individual crystals: 2-70 mm.
