This photo presents the top part of a conical geode which was vertically prisonered in basalt.The bottom part of the geode is quite round and contains small crystals of amethyst regularly spread.
In report with the geometrical position in the basalt where it had been discovered, the top geode superposed square shapes of the photo are very enigmatic.
