Locality: Fillow Quarry (Branchville Quarry; Branchville Mica Mine; Smith Mine), Branchville, Town of Ridgefield, Fairfield Co., Connecticut, USA

Excellent group of cleavelandite crystals fluorescing magenta at left with some lavender albite overgrowths on pale blue microcline at right and lower left, 5 x 8 cm. Shown here under SW UV illumination, child photo shows it under white light. Former Ronald Januzzi specimen.
