Locality: Botés, Alba Co., Romania

Specimen size: 4.8 x 3.8 x 3.4 cm
Hessite crystals size: 2-4 mm.
Crystals cluster Hessite size: 1.8 x 0.9 x 0.9 cm
Calcite, Quartz and Dolomite association.
This Silver telluride specimen is a exceptional find that I made in 2001. It was mined along with other fragments of minerals, no scientific value, and nearly 50 years stored in poor condition. A true miracle, do not show any damage.
Botes area Mines was closed early last century, now is abandoned and unprotected as a geological site.
