Weloganite in such quality came ONLY from this one small quarry, and this is an exceptional matrix specimen with unusually 3-dimensional presentation. It features a nearly-3 cm crystal standing upright, on a plate covered with lots of horizontally-laying crystals. Thus, it is one of the richest specimens around, I would think. The vertical crystal is repaired, but it is a repair so cleanly and carefully done that you would not know if I did not reveal it, to be honest. Certainly, such a clean repair job on so significant a rarity has little effect on its desirability, in my mind. in addition to its significance for the species, it is a beautiful display-quality specimen, whereas most welog's are rather clunky. 7 x 4.6 x 4.2 cm
