Serrote Redondo, Pedra Lavrada, Borborema mineral province, ParaĆba, Brazil
Lustrous 20 mm almandine garnet crystal exposed in the center of a quartz nodule from an unusual alluvial deposit. The garnet crystal is nicely exposed. Overall size of mineral specimen: 3x3x3 cm. Size of individual crystals: 20 mm.
