Locality: Lovozero Massif, Kola Peninsula, Murmanskaja Oblast', Northern Region, Russia
Terminated crystal of translucent saamite (REE-Sr-Apatite) without any matrix. Though saamite is often identified as belovite, local geologist actually consider this mineral to be fluorapatite (Pekov, 2000). Overall size of mineral specimen: 12x11x7 mm. Size of individual crystals: 12 mm.
