13 mm. massive, lamellar aggregates of white stenonite. This rare mineral has never been found in crystals. Stenonite is one of the unique minerals found at Ivigtut, and it is found mainly in the contact zone between siderite-cryolite ore and masses rich in fluorite. The specimen was a gift from the Mineralogical Museum in Copenhagen, Denmark, and it is now in the micromount collection of OT. Ljostad
