Locality: Mace Head, Carna, Connemara, Co. Galway, Ireland
NE-SW trending quartz vein (15-20cm width, centre of the photo) in the Carna Granite at Mace Head. This vein contains small patches of molybdenite associated with pyrite. Photo taken 17th July, 2011.
