Locality: Cavnic Mine (Kapnikbánya), Cavnic (Kapnic; Kapnik), Maramureș Co., Romania

Large plate of white quartz crystals up to 3 mm with overgrowth of iridescent tetrahedrite crystals up to 8 mm and thin white bladed barite crystals up to 2 cm. The tetrahedrite crystals are sharp and well formed, with beautiful rainbow iridescence. Ex. Dr. E. Sensel collection #BL123. Overall size of mineral specimen: 14x8x5 cm. Size of individual crystals: 1-20 mm.
