Chrysoberyl

Locality: Harts Ranges (Hartz Ranges), Northern Territory, Australia

Another new find from my collecting trip in 2011, this beautifully crystalized Chrysoberyl exhibits great twinning. Unfortunately all the specimens from this locality are 'frozen' in the quartz matrix and therefore are difficult to expose.
Specimen measures 3cm x 3cm.
