Locality: American Tunnel Mine (Gold King Mine), Howardsville, Animas District, San Juan Co., Colorado, USA

Light pink rhombic rhodochrosite crystals to 5 mm on edge on white quartz matrix with minor pyrite. Mounted in box for protection. Overall size of mineral specimen: 20x15x12 mm. Size of individual crystals: 2-5 mm.
