The Mineral Exhibit at the Philadelphia Academy Circa 1980

This is part of the mineral exhibit at the Philadelphia Academy of Sciences. Photo taken circa 1980. This collection was assembled in large part by Samuel Gordon, famed mineralogist. The exhibit was created by Robert Middleton. The specimens were museum sized and world class in quality. The collection and exhibit no longer exist.
