Locality: Rats Nest Claim, Challis, Custer Co., Idaho, USA
Beautiful specimen of well crystallized pink heulandite crystals up to 15 mm in fibrous white mordenite matrix. One of the best I have seen from this locality. From a recent find in 2001 (see Mineral News August 2001). Overall size of mineral specimen: 6x6x4 cm. Size of individual crystals: 10-15 mm.
