Locality: Epidote locality, Khowrin Mt (Khorram Mt), Kuhandan village, Saveh town, Tafresh city, Markazi Province, Iran

Lustrous crystals of dark green epidote on massive epidote matrix from a new find. The epidote crystals are elongated along the b-axis making flattened, tabular crystal shape. Recently this new find was featured in Le REGNE MINERAL, No. 44 (March, 2002). Overall size of mineral specimen: 5x4x4 cm. Size of individual crystals: 5-12 mm.
