Wulfenite

Locality: Defiance Mine, Costello Mine group (Costello claims), Gleeson, Turquoise District (Courtland-Gleeson District), Dragoon Mts, Cochise Co., Arizona, USA

A plate of very sharp, chocolate-brown crystals of wulfenite to 1.5 cm on edge (sizeable indeed!). The unusual color is from unidentified mineral inclusions, giving this specimen quite a unique appearance. Ex. Richard Hauck Collection, with labels going back to an old Hugh Ford label - probably at least 50 years old. 7.5 x 6.1 x 3.2cm
