Locality: Laguna del Rey, Mun. de Ocampo, Coahuila, Mexico

Large formation of twinned selenite crystals 15 cm tall. The selenite crystals have a matte surface texture giving a frosted appearance. Bottom has been sawn flat to stand upright. Amazingly no damage or dings! (Selenite is very soft.) Ex. Earle Sullivan collection (Ct.). Overall size of mineral specimen: 15x8x4 cm. Size of individual crystals: 3-4 cm.
