Pentagonite, Stilbite-Ca

Locality: Wagholi Quarries, Wagholi, Pune District (Poonah District), Maharashtra, India

7.4 x 6.0 x 3.6 cm. A striking and beautiful, 1.6 cm tall pentagonite spray, notable for its geometry and accentuated by several longer blades (to 1.0 cm). The highly lustrous and translucent blades have gorgeous, royal-blue color. The aesthetic placement of the spray on the well-trimmed, vuggy, drusy stilbite-covered basalt matrix is outstanding.
