Locality: Wanni glacier - Scherbadung (Monte Cervandone) area, Kriegalp Valley (Chriegalp Valley), Binn Valley, Wallis (Valais), Switzerland
The core of this xls is still Synchysite-(Ce). The surface is probably altered into Gasparite-(Ce). Gasparite-(Ce) from this location occurs often as a pseudomorph after Synchysite-(Ce). Ate van der Burgt, a Wanni specialist, says that also the altered Corona is As free in comparable specimens and therefore not Gasparite-Ce. Will let do a EDX analysis soon. Picture width 8 mm.
