Locality: Santa Rosa, Chilete Sunchubamba, Cospán, Cajamarca Department, Peru

Note: The mineral species Selenite is not listed in our database for this locality. This specimen may be misidentified or the mindat list of minerals at this locality may be incomplete.

Crystal 9 x 6 x 4cm.
The crystal is glass clear, resting on a bed of "gravel" which is clearly visible when looking into the crystal.
Ex. Peter B. Nalle (1923-2010) collection #520; originally acquired in 1977, gift of mine manager.
