Locality: Dara-i-Pech (Darra-i-Pech; Darra-e-Pech; Pech; Peech; Page) pegmatite field, Chapa Dara District, Konar Province (Kunar Province; Konarh Province; Konarha Province; Nuristan), Afghanistan

Portion of a pegmatite pocket with platy crystals of cleavlandite variety of albite up to 2 cm. Most importantly, there are two manganotantalite crystals (4 and 8 mm) on the cleavlandite. The manganotantalite crystals are lustrous black, with good form. Overall size of mineral specimen: 8x6x4 cm. Size of individual crystals: 4-30 mm.
