Grossular, Diopside, Feldspar Group

Locality: York River Skarn (York River Tactite Zone), Dungannon Township, Hastings Co., Ontario, Canada

This beautiful specimen measures 3.5cm x 2.2cm x 2cm with single diopside xl 1.2cm and single grossular xl .08cm. It comes from a locality, not far from where I live, that is no longer open for collecting, which makes it all the more special.
