Locality: Boron Pit, U.S. Borax Mine, Boron, Kramer District, Kern Co., California, USA
Three crystals of kurnakovite acquired in 1972 that, in spite of being stored for 24 years in a sealed, plastic container, show some signs of decomposition on the surface to a powdery, white dehydration product.
