Locality: Axinite occurrence, Limbach, Pezinok Co., Bratislava Region, Slovakia

Note: The mineral species Pumpellyite-(Mg) is not listed in our database for this locality. This specimen may be misidentified or the mindat list of minerals at this locality may be incomplete.

1 cm wide zone of massive light green pumpellyite-(Mg) bordering greenschist (metabasite) on left, against axinite-calcite vein, which is removed.
Minor calcite is at right bottom. Black bar is 10 mm. The locality is in the Rakový brook valley, 5 km W of Limbach.
