Locality: Fogle Quarry, Ottawa, Franklin Co., Kansas, USA

Colorless crystal of transparent calcite with minute marcasite inclusions in a rhombic zone. The calcite crystal is basically a rhombic form but has many complex crystal faces in the corners. Mounted in plastic Perky box for protection. Ex. R. Bates Collection #652. Overall size of mineral specimen: 20x20x17 mm. Size of individual crystals: 20 mm.
