Locality: Konar Province (Kunar Province; Konarh Province; Konarha Province; Nuristan), Afghanistan

Sharp, well crystallized rubellite tourmaline crystal with shallow pyramidal termination. Color is a deep pink and the crystal is transparent with internal flaws - no external damage. Minor albite attached to base. Overall size of mineral specimen: 5x3x3 cm. Size of individual crystals: 5 cm.
