Tourmaline

Locality: Malkhan pegmatite field (Malchan), Krasnyi Chikoy, Chitinskaya Oblast', Transbaikalia (Zabaykalye), Eastern-Siberian Region, Russia

This is a big and superb tourmaline for ANY locality, and it represents a MAJOR Russian tourmaline. We have photographed it in the hand so you can see just how hefty it is. The termination, luster and fine deep red color are all the very best and MUCH BETTER IN PERSON than the relatively washed out photos. The termination is a beautiful beveled, pyramidal one. There is a natural contact on the lower back side, but NO damage anywhere. SUPERB! 7.7 x 4 x 3.8 cm
