When I found this pocket in 2003, it was a tiny hole barely visible in the otherwise solid granite. The hole was easily enlarged, as the Crags granite is somewhat less resistant to weathering than the granite of the Sawtooth Batholith. I found exceptional smoky quartz crystals here, along with porcelain-like microcline and snow-white albite. The flat from this pocket is shown here: http://www.mindat.org/photo-485052.html
