Locality: Gujar Killi (Gujar Kili) Valley deposit, Swat District (Swat Valley), Malakand Region, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (North-West Frontier Province), Pakistan

A 1.2cm (max) partial crystal of beryl var. emerald sits up on a matrix of mica schist with a few smaller crystals.The crystal is opaque/translucent deep green - one end of the crystal is terminated into the matrix.
