A flat plate of sulphide matrix is covered with pseudomorphic growths of marcasite encrusted with shiny black sphalerite. Across the specimen there is an abundance of sheaves or clusters of semseyite to 1.5cm across!!! There is a scattering of microcrystalline balls of calcite over the specimen This is a very fine but large old time specimen we imported directly from Romania.
