Locality: Baxter Springs, Picher Field, Tri-State District, Cherokee Co., Kansas, USA

Large cubic crystals of gray metallic galena on limestone matrix. Scattered around the specimen are small brassy chalcopyrite crystals. Originally acquired from Boodle Lane ca. 1930. Overall size of mineral specimen: 11x8x5 cm. Size of individual crystals: 10-35 mm.
