A very hard to describe pseudomorph of what appears to be a two tiered growth of calcite. Basically the specimen is all quartz with a little pyrite, sphalerite and dolomite. The first tier is a pseudomorph of dogtooth form calcite, then a surface skin (also quartz) then an irregular form on the second tier. A very unsual and handsome specimen - if you like strange pseudomorphs!!!
