Blanket of deep blue Azurite crystals, with minor Malachite and black octahedral Magnetite crystals, all on a mixed matrix of white kaolinite/serpentinite and granular massive Magnetite. Specimen from The Cornwall Iron Mine, Lebanon Co, Pennsylvania. Although primarily exploited for it's rich deposits of Iron ore, Cornwall is also known for the occurrences of both native and secondary Copper minerals. Specimen size: 8 x 6cm. From the PA Annex of my personal collection, acquired in 2006.
