Massive golden Chalcopyrite and minor Galena in massive Quartz, hosting a rich array of secondary mineralization including Malachite, Linarite, Chrysocolla and minor Pyromorphite. Specimen from Whim Shaft, Perkiomen Mines, Audubon, Montgomery Co., Pennsylvania. Likely collected in the 1970's during construction of the condominium development which now occupies the original site of the mine and it's dumps. Originally from the Don Schmerling collection. Specimen size: 8.7 x 6.5cm. From the PA Annex of my personal collection, acquired in 2005.
