Pyrargyrite

Locality: Julcani Mine, Julcani District, Angaraes Province, Huancavelica Department, Peru

A heavy 5.0 by 3.8 cms mass large Pyrargyrite crystals (identified by their exposure on the bottom of the specimen) coved by tiny microcrystals of "ruby silvers", possibly also Pyrargyrite. John Sobolewski specimen and photograph.
