9.4 x 8 x 4.9 cm. In a fashion, this specimen resembles its Bisbee and Chinese cousins. However, the quantity from Brazil is much smaller. These came out about a decade ago and have been scarce since then. The lustrous spheres of azurite reach 1.0 cm across and the malachite spheres reach .7 cm across. This is a really attractive large plate, showing great color and a bit of color contrast from the alteration of some Azurite to Malachite. Ex. Michael Jactat Collection, a French dealer and collector active in Brazil at the time and collected fine miniatures for his own collection.
