Locality: ZCA Pierrepont Mine, Pierrepont, St. Lawrence Co., New York, USA

Gemmy yellow sphalerite on dark magnetite matrix. Though the sphalerite is fully crystalline, I believe these are cleavage faces. The sphalerite is very transparent, and this quality is very uncommon. Overall size of mineral specimen: 4.5x3.5x3 cm. Size of individual crystals: 1-2 cm.
