Locality: Frostburg, Allegany Co., Maryland, USA

Old specimen (ca. 1900) of brown siderite crystals with white barite core visible on the bottom. Good classic specimen from an old museum (#6697), possibly the old Haverford College collection. Overall size of mineral specimen: 8x7x7 cm. Size of individual crystals: 1-4 mm.
