This bournonite specimen on matrix is reminiscent of the very best from Cornwall, England, except it’s from a classic locality in France. At over 5 cm in width and 3.5 cm in height, the largest crystal is lustrous, exceptionally nicely displayed atop matrix, well formed, and simply HUGE. This is a very fine bournonite from an old, rare, deposit. It probably came out in recent reworking of the locality in the early 90s, I am told, though I do not know if we can be certain. The bournonite cluster sits on matrix that contrasts and presents it so nicely, making this a world class specimen for the species 10.5 x 5.5 x 5.5 cm
