Pyrite, Tetrahedrite

Pyrite, Tetrahedrite

Single complex crystal (partial) of pyrite coated with lustrous steel-gray Tetrahedrite (?). One such lustrous specimen had Cu and Sb in the coating. Many such specimens, usually from Rio Rico, were coated with galena or tetrahedrite. There was never any nickel in these coatings, so none of it was ever bravoite. Ex. J. Cilen #2498. Overall size of mineral specimen: 4x3x2 cm. Size of individual crystals: 4x3x2 cm.
