Greenish brown, fresh crystals of Mosandrite (variety "Johnstrupite") embedded in Feldspar from Skudesundskjær in the Langesundsfjord, Vestfold, Norway collected in 1969. Recent investigations of this mineral originally described by Brögger as "Johnstrupite", have shown it to be similar to "Rinkite" and thus to be considered a variety of Mosandrite.Specimen and photo: Knut Eldjarn.
