Locality: Coscuez Mine (Cosquez Mine), Muzo, Vasquez-Yacopí Mining District, Boyacá Department, Colombia

Superb specimen of gemmy green emerald crystal in white calcite matrix. The crystal is brilliant green, very gemmy, with clean surfaces. The specimen sits upright nicely without additional support. Overall size of mineral specimen: 6x5x4 cm. Size of individual crystals: 17 mm.
