Metatorbernite


Metatorbernite : Cu(UO2)2[PO4]2 · 8H2O

A pinkish piece of matrix is covered on one surface by a group of immaculate tabular meta-torbernite crystals to 7mm on the crystals edge. The crystals are arranged in parallel groups and rosettes, with small blobs of chalcanthite on the matrix.This rock is naturally radioactive, and the white \"hair\" photo 2 was removed!
