Locality: Michigamme Mine (Mt Shasta mine), Michigamme, Marquette iron range, Marquette Co., Michigan, USA
Old specimen of three ripidolite pseudomorphs after an almandine crystals up to 25 mm across. Hard to photograph specimen, must be seen in person. It originated in a museum collection (#6432 on bottom) ca. 1880. Excellent multi-crystal specimen. Overall size of mineral specimen: 4x2.5x2 cm. Size of individual crystals: 12-25 mm.
