Bornite


Bornite

A flat triangular piece of matrix is covered is light druze of quartz and a little calcite. Dispersed over ther surface are few 1-2mm single bornite crystals. Perched up at one end is a single bornite crystal 1.2cm across. The crystals has a bright lustre and steel blue to purple irridescence.There is a string of small 1-2mm crystals across the back too! - last photo.
